Documentation & Process Senior Specialist

Summary

The Documentation & Process Senior Specialist will report to the AD, Business Process & Communication, supporting the Commercial Operations department at Seagen. This individual will operationalize process mapping across the many departments in the Commercial organization, including conducting gap assessments, conducting stakeholder interviews, creating process maps, and identifying areas of process improvement. The Documentation & Process Senior Specialist will also create new templates and tools to support the continued growth of Seagen.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify and analyze business process improvement opportunities to achieve streamlined and coordinated processes across the Commercial organization
  • Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at multiple levels to identify, analyze, and document existing business processes, workflow, and business needs
  • Gain deep knowledge on daily outputs of the team and recognize gaps within the workflow
  • Build and present process maps to key members of Commercial Operations; consult with the business about key process issues and lead others to critically examine, rethink, redesign, and drive sustainable performance and process improvement
  • Provide guidance to support the adoption of business process improvement initiatives including communication and education on changes, updates, and enhancements
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with stakeholders in key support functions including Operations, IT, Finance, Human Resources, Sales, and Marketing
  • Promote synergies across business lines to complete process improvement work

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree in Business Administration, Communication, or other related fields
  • Master’s in Business Administration preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in process improvement
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, gathering business requirements, and managing deliverables
  • Proven track record of instituting process framework and identifying opportunities for process efficiencies/optimization
  • Proficient in building RACIs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry is preferred
  • Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration, comfortable working in a team environment, and pivoting with rapidly changing business priorities
  • Creative problem solver able to handle multiple projects, partner cross-functionally, and delegate externally as needed to support business timelines
  • Able to deliver solutions with a high degree of accuracy and process improvement mentality
  • Persistent, resilient individual who thrives in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment
  • Must be “hands-on” and ready to roll up their sleeves to deliver immediate results
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Attention to detail; strong prioritization, communication, and organization skills
